La Sarah oggetto della nostra recensione è la più piccola tra le due (35mm e 75mm) prodotte da Scale 75 e appartiene alla serie Wargames Steampunk. Oltre alla scala ridotta questo modello non è corredato dalla splendida moto che viene fornita con la corrispondente in 75mm.
We find two Sarah Kilmister in Scale 75 product range: one in 35 and one in 75mm. The Sarah we’re talking about in this review is the smallest among the two and belongs to the Wargames Steampunk Series. In addition to the reduced scale this model is not accompanied by a beautiful bike that is supplied with the corresponding in 75mm.
Scatola a prova di urto
La confezione di questo modello è una robusta scatola di plastica chiusa a pressione contenente il cartoncino fronte/retro della boxart.
Protetta da uno spesso strato di spugna troviamo quindi una busta contente la basetta rotonda da 32mm e il modello scomposto in due parti: corpo e gamba destra.
Una minore scala non significa però minori dettagli. Rispetto al modello in 75mm le proporzioni sono perfettamente rispettate così come la posa sfrontata. Vita sottile e gambe slanciate la rendono poi una delle figure più accattivanti della serie prodotta da Scale 75.
Impact-proof box
the package of this model is a robust plastic housing containing the boxart cardboard. Protected by a thick layer of sponge we find an envelope containing the 32mm round plate and the model in two parts: body and right leg.
A smaller scale does not mean less detail. The proportions are perfectly respected as well as the pose. A thin waist and beautiful legs make it one of the most captivating figures of this serie.
Scultura
La Sarah in 35mm è eccellente, con una proporzione degli elementi ideale per la scala. Gli elementi sono ben definiti così come i dettagli che non denotano alcuna approssimazione. Il viso è molto curato e aggraziato, con i capelli che si appoggiano morbidi sulle spalle.
Le braccia aprono naturalmente il giubbetto scoprendo le generose forme del seno racchiuso in un corpetto rigido. La pancia è ben definita così come i fianchi fasciati in una piccola minigonna a balze dalla cui cintura pende la pistola contenuta in una fondina davvero ben realizzata. Le gambe sono ben modellate e un paio di stivaloni alti quasi al ginocchio completano l’insieme.
Sculpture
Sarah in 35mm is excellent, with a proportion of the elements ideal for scale. The details are well defined and do not denote any approximation. The face is graceful, with hair that rest soft on the shoulders. The arms open the jacket discovering the generous breast enclosed in a rigid body piece.
The belly is well defined as well as the sides wrapped in a small miniskirt frills from belt which hangs the gun in a holster. Legs are well shaped and a couple of almost knee-high boots complete the set.
Stampa
La stampa del modello è all’altezza della qualità espressa dagli altri prodotti Scale 75 e a occhio riusciamo a notare solo una sottile linea di fusione che corre attorno alla figura.
Stessa cosa sulla gamba destra.
Nulla di preoccupante comunque: una leggera carteggiata o una passata con il dorso della lama del bisturi la eliminano senza lasciare praticamente traccia.
Printing
The printing respect the quality expressed by other products Scale 75 and we can only note a thin fusion line that runs around the figure. Same thing on the right leg. Nothing to worry: a slight pass of sandpaper or with the back of the blade eliminate it without leaving trace.
In definitiva possiamo dire che questo modello offre ottimi spunti sia per chi desiderasse un pezzo singolo da aggiungere alla propria collezione o a un proprio esercito o fazione sia per chi volesse creare un piccolo diorama a tema steampunk.
We can say that this model offers great ideas for those who want a single piece to add to their collection or to an army/faction or want to create a small steampunk themed diorama.
